BOO poses by the Dordogne at Vitrac where the tour stopped for three nights giving us time to visit the sights and introduce Len to the joys of foie gras and walnut oil! One of the highpoints of this rally, apart from the great company, was the food. We stayed mainly in family-run Logis and were welcomed warmly wherever we went.

A two-night stop at Chaudes-Aigues, the volcanic hot-water spa town in the Auvergne, gave us a free day to take the motorway south to Millau to see Norman Foster's stunning new viaduct across the Tarn at Millau.
