In 2005 Classic & Sports Car magazine organised its first-ever Reader Run. Editor James Elliott flagged the participants
off from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, Browns Lane, on a cross-country route that took us to Motor Heritage museum at
Gaydon, via Coventry Motor Museum. Nearly 100 cars, including a number of E-types and XKs, took part in what turned out to
be a hugely successful and enjoyable day's driving.
