People assume that running a classic car is one long series of breakdowns, leaks and failures. Not so. But only if you keep on top of the maintenance and seek out the best in the business, whether it's for routine servicing or specialist bodywork. BOO is lucky to have a devoted team of fans who are always on hand to keep it on the road. Most important of these are Ray Brown (above) and Fred Robinson at the Surrey Jaguar Centre in Croydon, south London, who offer serious TLC for Jaguars of all ages.

One of the most rewarding things about owning a car like BOO is the willingness with which people give of their time and expertise – some paid and some out of sheer generosity. Tyres come from Longstone in Yorkshire and are always fitted by Wayne and his team at Sunbury Tyre Centre, where they understand how to balance wire wheels. Anything else is usually down to friends and family, so thanks to Roger and Nick at JEC Sprays, 'Citroën' Frank Scullion and Len, whose own E-type sometimes gets neglected thanks to BOO!

A big thank you to everyone who keeps BOO rolling. We couldn't do it without you!
